I would like to plagiarize Ajab's idea again, and start a club for Christians. This club will have three purposes:

1. Discuss issues specific to Christianity

2. Share Bible verses and encouragement

3. Pray for one another

In order to fulfill all these purposes, we will have to limit membership to those who meet the following criteria:

I believe:

1. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three separate manifestations of the same God.

2. Jesus was not just a wise man, he is fully God in addition to being fully man.

3. The Bible alone in its current form is the inerrant word of God, inspired by him and written through his servants.

4. Jesus was born of a Virgin, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross to save the sins of the world, and was resurrected by God the Father, permanently conquering death.

5. Jesus is the only way to get to heaven.

6. There is only one baptism in which we can identify with Christ.

7. The dead will be resurrected at the end of time when Christ returns to call home his church.

I agree to do the following while the club is in session:

1. Show respect to others whether they are worthy of it or not.

2. Keep all discussion God honoring and fitting to the Philippians 4:8 model.

3. Use my words to build up others rather than tear them down.

Your membership with any other club does not interfere with your membership with this club in any way. We welcome any Christian from any denomination or school of thought. As long as you meet the criteria, you are more than welcome. If you differ slightly in beliefs, you are welcome to message me (mishapqueen) and I am more than happy to discuss it with you and see if we can let you in. We will not consider any of the other groups as less important as we are, and we might engage the other groups in discussion, but the primary purpose is to support the Christians on this site.

Any concerns about conduct within the club will be handled according to the Matthew 18 method:
"If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector."
(Matthew 18:15-17 NIV)

Club leadership will be decided at a later date. At the moment, Deusdiligitme and myself are leading, but whether this is permanent or not will be up to discussion.

Thank you for considering joining us!

I got excited when I saw a girl making a club... But I'm not Christian... so oh well...
Solonkr~
I don't care about whether an ideology is "necessary" or not,
I care about how to solve problems,
which is what everyone else should also care about.

Seriously? The bible is just a book. Coming from a christian.

4. Jesus was born of a Virgin, lived a perfect life,
Except the part where he's brutally murdered on a cross and left to the birds.
and died on the cross to save the sins of the world,
Huge misinterpretation of why he died.

Yes and no

No

6. There is only one baptism in which we can identify with Christ.
False. Coming from the words of Peter and Paul, the deeds of good counted just as much before the circumcision of Abraham.

7. The dead will be resurrected at the end of time when Christ returns to call home his church.
Misunderstanding. Resurrection happens immediately after death. Jesus obviously didn't wait for the coming.
How about NO elections?

No, but your requirements are that of a generic southern baptist. I prefer to talk with intelligent Christians mind you. Not ones who look at the bible and are mindlessly brainwashed by it. Not saying you aren't an intelligent christian, but I can't imagine talking religion with someone who believes the bible is the infallible word of god.

To the club, unfortunately not. I'm perfectly fine with friending them, and I love talking to them, but if we expanded the club to include that broad a range of faiths, we would fail in the three purposes we want to accomplish. You can start a multi-faith club if you want.

I don't want to fight you. This club is not intended to be multi-faith, I said that if you want to, you can start one that is. I started 3in1 for three purposes. Adding those would detract from said purposes. We don't intend to shun anyone, but we do want to support this minority.

What? It most certainly is a ideology within the Christian faith.

Yet your requirements say otherwise

As long as we agree on every issue

Jesus states in the bible that religion is a personal thing only to be shared between you and god. Are other people beyond your prayers? Public praying is discouraged by Paul in the bible. You listen to Paul, right? You know what he had to say on the homosexuals.
