According to webcorp, Debate.org, which used to be owned by it, scores an F grade on its own test. Are the new Juggle servers slower?

Yeah well, companies like Apple and Google only get a C and a company like Akamai also gets an F. I wouldn't put much credit in this.

When WebCorp owned Debate.org, we didn't put a tremendous amount of effort towards perfect HTML and CSS validation, or speed and performance. We were more focused on the community features and design. Some of the older members will remember that we were really MIA once the core site for Debate.org went live, mainly because we had so many projects at that time. Debate.org does not use BASE, the framework we've developed at WebCorp. As I recall, Debate.org was an .ASP application, whereas BASE is a LAMP application.

If you want to compare first-hand, check-out http://gtmetrix.com... and http://validator.w3.org...

I never left, but it's a little awkward being here since the sale. I don't want to step on any of the Juggle toes. It's their baby now, so I try and stay out of the fray. I do check in frequently to see how everything is going though from a spectator's POV. Since this board was specific to WebCorp, I felt I should participate since I try and be transparent with our claims. Lot's of newbees here...lol.

Just because they adopted it you still had the pain of popping it out of your vagina. Thanks for not aborting it like a normal person would do and gifting us with a proper baby

Heya phil, long time no see. Yeah, I was just about to say this was a college project originally wasn't it? I am not surprised it didn't meet BASE standards.
Anyways, It's good to see you around. Ghost from the past. The creator of one of the internet's best gem's... I almost want an autograph.... ;-)

How long did it take you to build debate.com? Were you the primary developer at the time?

I bet it's crazy to see how much this place has changed.
