I'm running through the challenge section right now, and can't seem to accept more than one debate without having to wait 10 minutes. Why is this?

For me, I'm seeing more than 1 debate that I'd like to take and fear that by waiting 10 minutes, someone else might take it before I can.

So, may someone please provide me with some insight regarding why I must wait 10 minutes between each acceptance?

Well, I'd assume it is to not overextend yourself, protect from trolls, and give other members a chance to get "good" debates.
My work here is, finally, done.

Seems like a good policy to keep trolls from serial accepting and ruining several debates at once.

That's a valid reason. One I cannot disagree with.

Instead, I move to create an amendment to this general rule. Anyone with an Elo of 3500+ is allowed special privileges to accept *at most* 3 debates at a time before the 10 minute rule kicks in. Kind of like how the strongest lions always get to eat first.

Does anyone see issues with this proposal? I think 3 is a reasonable number, as is the Elo limitation.

Yes I have problems with your elitist bullshlt. Wait 10 minutes like everyone else.

That's not a bad ideal either. I also want a thread only available for our viewing. I also think our votes should count for double value and we should get a Taco Tuesday.

If it makes you feel better he is only elitest because he is superior to you in every way.
