Whew! It was my hardest debate ever! (Yes, even harder than that one against CJKAllstar, or that school uniform debate against Ajabi where I stuck to troll arguments, or even that debate against Bsh1!)

My god, it was tough, it was rough, it was doggone hard! But I managed to pull all the way through, researching here and there, everywhere to beat my opponent.

Reflection being PRO: Con, is a powerful, strong opponent. After all, he designated the framework, constructed all his powerful arguments, while I basically rebutted him. But as the debate went on, I not only rebutted con's arguments, I also built up my own persuasive case for the resolution. I think I won the debate.

Reflection being CON: Pro has way too many arguments supporting his side. But--I managed to twist his arguments against himself, and regardless of how eloquent his arguments are, and how fortified his defense is, I believe I managed to counter his arguments against himself for him to win. I believe I am the victor of the debate.

Who do you think won? Vote in the "who won?" section. Enjoy!

Hmmm, well, I guess it isn't that hard when you put it that way. But I have to drop arguments ahead of time because I know it'll come to my lost. For example, within civil unions, I could have argued that the majority argument clashes with the gays' agreement argument; but then my "opponent" could have just said that obviously gays would support marriage in a majority; only they support marriage more.

BTW, who do you think won? I think PRO won. Although Con had some very twisting arguments, especially at the end!

I think it's really weird and hilarious at the same time when I see arguments like "my opponent dropped this argument" or "my opponent concedes this argument" when your opponent is you. I can see some value in this exercise though because it forces you to go beyond what you would already know/argue since you already know what you know.

I think Pro won as well, and Con put up a solid fight.

well. not really...
I mean BSH1 was getting tired of debating gay marriage. Bookie didn't have time. Me and my sister have the same IP address so we can't debate on the topic. And I finally get to develop a good point of view without losing elo!
