Where people can ask questions like "If you could change the education system, how would you change it?" or "What would you do if...?" Similar to the "opinions" section but the questions are open-ended.

You can do that in the forums.
Just start a thread in the relevant forum and let discussions occur.
My work here is, finally, done.

There are too many sections that aren't being used much. I'd say remove some sections instead of creating new ones. *cough**cough*Religion Forum*cough*

For the first one you can use the Education forums, but people mainly do many of their new ideas in debates if you have enough supporting evidence and reason behind it, but if you just want to hear people's thoughts then the forums is the correct place to go.

Still the forums. The Big Issues only allows you to compare your views to other members.

In the voices section, people can answer any time.

You mean like how different people are responding to your question?
Yeah, it's the forums.

Post a new thread and ask a question and start a discussion, just like these guys did:
http://www.debate.org...
http://www.debate.org...
http://www.debate.org...

The better the question, and the more engaged you are as the original poster, the better the thread.

Here's why DDO shouldn't create a Voices section.

Outside of the Forums, it's utter madness of stupidity out there, because dumbasses can be banned due to things they did on forums, but not in opinions or polls, albeit offensive members can be banned in debates.

Point being, Voices section will just be overrun by idiocy like the Polls and the Opinions. Do you really want another section like the Opinions? I swear I'll sue Juggle if they actually create that. Thankfully, Juggle hasn't updated anything for a while now, and I doubt they'll create a Voices section.

I think the issue with said forum is that it is used too much, not too little.

But we shouldn't remove it and restrict people's freedom of speech.

Well, I guess not, but if you always tell people that you're God IRL like BOG, do you think the Christians will allow that?

I can't say I agree with him at all, and I'd rather he'd not talk as he does, but I don't really feel I can tell him to be quiet when I spread my opinions too, you know?

There is no freedom of speech while on private property.
Try to avoid using that argument on here, or elsewhere on the internet.

Ok.
Sorry, if that came off as harsh.

What I mean is that "freedom of speech" is only relevant in protecting speech from government. It does not apply to private citizens. Suggesting that Juggle (or anywhere on the internet, outside maybe a government website) is infringing on our freedom just shows you don't know what the phrase means, and hurts your arguments.

Now, since this is a debate website, restricting speech is definitely something they should not do, but it is not a freedom. So, I do agree with your sentiment, that restricting speech is a bad idea.

Oh, it's fine. Part of the problem, is I'm used to using "freedom of speech" as a joke. Kind of like the "I'm being repressed" scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I just forgot to clarify it, sorry.
