From what I have seen with all this politics i believe everyone needs to this. Take a breather.

This has spiraled out from politics to just fighting and going at each other. I honestly have seen little of anything constructive. So please, can we just take a break until the elections and then spout our anger at each other? Please?
Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

I agree and I hope that we can all go back to being friends after the election rather than holding on to anger and grudges.

I've made a concerted effort to make the tone over the last two days more civil. The stakes here are important to the site but in the grand scheme of things not worth losing friendships over.
