As many of you know, I recently left DDO indefinitely for personal reasons that only very few of you are actually aware of. My activity on this website has been sporadic and inconsistent at best. I have not completed a decent debate in this community in nearly six months.

In spite of all this, I still feel very much invested in this community and I still consider the friends I made here to be the single most intelligent and caring group of people I've met both on the internet and in person.

While I am by no means an important member of this community and while my contributions cannot even begin to compare to those of other dedicated members like BSH1, Mikal, Bluesteel, Bladerunner, and so many others, I would like to think that I hold enough respect in this community that my endorsement would be appreciated.

Mikal and Imabench have both been staple figureheads in this community for a long time, and I have a tremendous amount of respect for each. One could describe them as the gatekeepers of our community's passion and humor. Both are formidable debaters and both, in my opinion, embody the spirit of what makes DDO such an amazing place to be.

Leadership in our community, however, requires a deep sense of pragmatism coupled with an acutely developed comprehension of the turbulent aspects of our communal issues. It requires a slow, deliberate, and all inclusive approach that enables our elected leadership to enact effective, accepted, lasting change that includes both the broad interests of the community as well as the goals and vision of our platform corporation.

Bladerunner has demonstrated this exact approach to leadership and has proven through experience that he and his administration are more than capable of embodying the critical qualities of servant leaders.

I feel that while Mikal and Imabench make wonderful and charismatic community figures, and while DDO is a better place for having them as members, Bladerunner and his team are more suited to the particular role played by the DDO president.

My vote will go to the Blade/Cermank ticket.
