Have a tournament moderator list, just like there is a list for mafia games. You have to put your name down and wait your turn to host a tournament, to avoid tournament fatigue (the same way the mafia mod list avoided mafia game fatigue).

At all times, someone will be allowed to run one beginner tournament. There will also be a rotation for who runs those tournaments. I have an established formula now (based on past experience and a few tweaks from own experience) that people can use to easily run these and avoid forfeits and delays.

This list will not apply retroactively, so anyone who has already announced a tournament will be unaffected. Airmax could sticky the list at the top of this forum.

That's actually something that I talked to ore_ele about a few days ago. We both think this is a great idea because of not only tournament fatigue, but also because of the numberous amount of tournaments that don't finish (even though that may often be a consequence of tournament fatigue)

What's the point? If someone wants to run a tournament and people sign up for it, why should you stop them just because others are already running their own tournaments? It's up to those signing up to decide whether they have time or not.

Get caught in ticking traps
And start to dream of somewhere
To relax their restless flight
Somewhere out of a memory of lighted streets on quiet nights..."

People made literally the same argument for abolishing the mafia mod list. The problem is people sign up quickly and without thinking then end up losing enthusiasm because they signed up for too many games.
