Hello everyone!

I have become greatly interested and excited in the idea of Quickfire debating. It sounds fun and tests a person's ability to both forumulate arguments and think on the fly. It is also a good way to hammer out a series of debates without having them drag out over two weeks.

Quickfire set up is as follows (at least the way I want to do it):

30 minute per round
4k character limit
No external research
1 week voting period

Signup List
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
...
x.

Potential Debate Resolutions
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
...
x.

I am interested in doing a few and am thinking about resolutions to suggest.

I hope people jump on this!

He literally just posted that someone should orchestrate more quickfire debates and possibly a tourney.

I am not interested in a quick fire debate. I am however interested in debating the confederate flags connection to racism. Though I might word the resolution slightly differently.

Done. Let me finish up some of the debates I'm currently in first though.

I thought you said that they wouldn't require any external research. Don't those resolutions recquire external research, or am I missing something?

Not really no... At least I don't need to research them.

Make one small change: The Confederate Flag is Primarily a Symbol of Racism.

If that's not in there it will be too easy as anything can be used as a symbol for just about anything if you so choose.
