I think many people would agree that polls with more quality should be the ones that are shown on the main page when people new to the site get a glimpse of debate.org. I just came on again and saw this: http://www.debate.org...

That would no doubt the eye-catcher if someone was first looking at our site. Therefore, we need some serious changes. I'm in favor of putting polls with more votes up front, mainly older polls on important political and social topics that most new people would likely suspect from this website. New polls should only be shown in a new polls section to avoid this.

The poll in question is in the jokes areas, but I feel there needs to be an emphasis on political, economic, and social polls and opinions on the front page. The reason is simply that this site's first intention would be to debate serious material and discuss. I'm not against fun, if that can even be called fun, but a lot of people would be rubbed the wrong way from it.

This is not a new idea it has been talked about extensively and only Juggle can reform the site in terms of how it functions .

The polls are the most interesting thing on this website, and including the opinions it is the only part of this website that is not filled with a-holes or trolls.
