Hi everyone! While recently building Find.net I've had the opportunity to play around with the social links for FaceBook and Twitter.

I'm considering adding a Twitter button and FaceBook "Like" button on the debate pages. Out of curiosity, who here thinks they would use those buttons, and who would ignore them?

I suppose I would "like" it.

Obvious is obvious. I was only clarifying as to why I would ignore them.

You're very poor at understanding when someone needs to clarify or elaborate on a point he / she makes.

So far, the only people who said "ignore" are the ones who don't have or like Facebook.

I sort of like the idea, but there's already a "Like" button on the debates.

I have a love/hate relationship with facebook. I don't outright hate it. :P

Thanks for all the great feedback! I'm going to wait for some more comments to come in over the next few days before making a final decision.

Yeah, the twitter thing would be nice.

I think Facebook "like" buttons are really annoying. They spam up your entire news feed and are almost always stupid dumb crap. But I guess it'd probably be good publicity for DDO.

I know, and I dislike them. Do I really need to know that three of my friends like "Mom, im 16 now. Can I have a Bra? ...No, Justin"?

It's just a pet peeve of mine. But like I said, it'd probably be good for DDO.

Agreed that it would be good publicity for ddo.

However I am greatly annoyed by facebook "like" buttons, especially since it is now to the point where you can like someone commenting on somebody liking something. I'm an avid facebook user, and I would most likely ignore the buttons completely.

I would like it and "like" it, if the mod could allow myself and other non-North American users to confirm our identity (perhaps by e-mail?).

The mod of this site only has 8 forum posts.

I normally post comments as the Admin and those don't count toward my total.

Lol. This is the first time you're asking about this, huh?

You're not going to tell the establishment to f*ck off, and let the people make their own Facebook Like button?

Regardless, the last person I want using it is you, because you'll like about 10+ a day, making my news feed clogged.
