In recent weeks, there have been several spam advertising threads, that have clogged the forums in all of its sections. Sure, the standard process is to just ignore the spam, or report it, but that still doesn't make it less annoying, it is just one big hassle. And occasionally, as with the Entertainment section, these threads can last for days. There needs to be some kind of action to impede this advertising bots, to stop them from defacing the forums. This has become a real problem, and one that hopefully has some kind of resolution in the near future.

Seriously though,
>can't post more than one forum topic every 15 minutes.
>can't create more than one forum topic per day/hour/etc until verified by moderator or get voting privileges
>captcha tests required when creating forum topics during first week/month/etc of membership

All of these would work, no..? pree simple fixes too.

Oh, that probably qualifies as spam because it was a picture of Zac Efron singing Frozen, rather than Elsa singing a HS musical song..

Duly noted.

The solution is simple:
Call down the admin and he shall descend from above and smite those spambots with his mighty banhammer. . . wait. Does DDO have an admin with a banhammer?

Well, it depends though! If you hated Zac Efron, you could say that he was defaming Frozen. Like, if I posted a video of myself singing "Let it Go," and you saw my bedroom window shatter behind you, you would probably say, rightly, that I've made a mockery of the goodness that is Frozen.
