WOD Class and Race explanation

In sign ups quite a few people were asking what certain races and are. I am going to give a brief tutorial on what they are and how they will work the story.

(Alliance Factions)

1. Human

Most neutral class. Average stats and starts off in hume starting city in the middle of etheria. The Capital City. Mild starting bonus towards all classes

2. Elf or Dark Elf

Elfs Start in the elf starting city deep in the forests, and dark elfs start in the dark elf starting city which is underground. Both have high agility and dexterity with low vitality. Starting bonus towards archer, thief , warrior dragoon, and ninja

3. Dwarf

Dwarfs start in the dwarf starting city deep within the mountains. High strength and vitality, and endurance. low speed. Starting bonus towards warrior, fighter, dragoon, and paladin

4. Gnome

High Intelligence, Wisdom, and Dexterity, low strength and vitality. Starts out in the gnome starting city. They have both a city above ground and underground , both are connected. Very technological city. Starting Bonus on mage classes along with thief and ninja classes

5. Draconian (also known as half dragon)

High Strength and Dexterity, decent vit and low int and wisdom. Gets a giant starting bonus towards dragoon class. Is able to speak to dragons. Starts out in draconian starting city which is floating above etheria.

(Horde Factions)

6. Undead

High Int and Wisdom. Starts in undead starting city below biggest graveyard in the world. Starting bonus towards mage classes

7. Troll

High dexterity and strength. Starts out in troll starting city, located at end of a desert and beside a forest. Starting bonus towards warrior, thief, dragoon, ninja and fighter classes

8. Orc

High Strength, and Vit. Located in orc starting city deep inside a channel of caves and tunnels . Really high start bonus towards fighter and warrior classes.

9. Goblin

High int, wisdom , and dext. Depending on what class stats scale to class. Starts at goblin starting city, deep within a dark forest. Starting bonus towards mage classes and thief and ninja classes

10. Tauren

Extremely high Vit and endurance. Starts in tauren starting city atop a peninsula where city is joined together with ropes, bridges, and wood. High starting bonus towards fighter, paladin, and warrior classes.

(TP Faction)

11. Demon

Stats unknown, starting city unknown , bonuses unknown.

2. Sorcerer

Commonly known as black mage. Scales with wisdom well

3. Warlock

Uses damage over time spells to kite enemies and hurt them without being hit. Can summon minions to help him fight. Scales well with wisdom

4. Priest

Uses healing abilities and kiting abilities to do damage over time while mainly focusing on healing. Hard to kill and scales well with int.

5. Archer

Uses bows to damage enemies. Scales well with dex

6. Paladin

Tanks damage and hard to kill cause of defense and hp. Scales well with vit, endurance, and int

7. Ninja

Uses spells to kite enemies, small amounts of burst damage and extremely hard to hit

Scales well with wisdom and dex

8. Beast Master

Controls animals in the wilderness to fight and can gain some as pets. Scales well with strength/dex and int

9. Dragoon

Uses a dragon to fight. Upon age dragoons receive a pet dragon that is linked to them. Uses sword or lance. Scales well with strength, dex and vit

10. Thief

Relies on crits and back damage. Steals items. Scales well with dex

11. Blue Mage

Uses and learns abilities that are used against him and can remember them and store them. Scales well with int, wisdom, dex, and str

12. Red Mage

Uses sorc and priest abilities. Neither is as damage as if you pick sorc of priest , because they have more focused abilities while yours are less powerful and you have more of them. Scales well with wisdom and int.

13. Fighter

Uses hand to hand combat. Scales well with strength, dex, vit, and endurance

Note , anyone can change their classes now that you have read all this. This is to give you insight as to what classes and races can work well together in order make your character last longer in a series. If your race has starting stats that do compliment your class well, you may last less longer than someone who is more proficient. That is not always true but it could happen :)

(Alliance Factions)

1. Human

Most neutral class. Average stats and starts off in hume starting city in the middle of etheria. The Capital City. Mild starting bonus towards all classes

2. Elf or Dark Elf

Elfs Start in the elf starting city deep in the forests, and dark elfs start in the dark elf starting city which is underground. Both have high agility and dexterity with low vitality. Starting bonus towards archer, thief , warrior dragoon, and ninja

3. Dwarf

Dwarfs start in the dwarf starting city deep within the mountains. High strength and vitality, and endurance. low speed. Starting bonus towards warrior, fighter, dragoon, and paladin

4. Gnome

High Intelligence, Wisdom, and Dexterity, low strength and vitality. Starts out in the gnome starting city. They have both a city above ground and underground , both are connected. Very technological city. Starting Bonus on mage classes along with thief and ninja classes

5. Draconian (also known as half dragon)

High Strength and Dexterity, decent vit and low int and wisdom. Gets a giant starting bonus towards dragoon class. Is able to speak to dragons. Starts out in draconian starting city which is floating above etheria.

(Horde Factions)

6. Undead

High Int and Wisdom. Starts in undead starting city below biggest graveyard in the world. Starting bonus towards mage classes

7. Troll

High dexterity and strength. Starts out in troll starting city, located at end of a desert and beside a forest. Starting bonus towards warrior, thief, dragoon, ninja and fighter classes

8. Orc

High Strength, and Vit. Located in orc starting city deep inside a channel of caves and tunnels . Really high start bonus towards fighter and warrior classes.

9. Goblin

High int, wisdom , and dext. Depending on what class stats scale to class. Starts at goblin starting city, deep within a dark forest. Starting bonus towards mage classes and thief and ninja classes


10. Tauren

Extremely high Vit and endurance. Starts in tauren starting city atop a peninsula where city is joined together with ropes, bridges, and wood. High starting bonus towards fighter, paladin, and warrior classes.


(TP Faction)

11. Demon

Stats unknown, starting city unknown , bonuses unknown.

1. Warrior

Can either be offensive or defensive. Has the ability to dual wield which scales with dex or can use single handed weapons and focus on strength. Scales with dex, wisdom, and vit well

2. Sorcerer

Commonly known as black mage. Scales with wisdom well

3. Warlock

Uses damage over time spells to kite enemies and hurt them without being hit. Can summon minions to help him fight. Scales well with wisdom

4. Priest

Uses healing abilities and kiting abilities to do damage over time while mainly focusing on healing. Hard to kill and scales well with int.

5. Archer

Uses bows to damage enemies. Scales well with dex

6. Paladin

Tanks damage and hard to kill cause of defense and hp. Scales well with vit, endurance, and int

7. Ninja

Uses spells to kite enemies, small amounts of burst damage and extremely hard to hit

Scales well with wisdom and dex

8. Beast Master

Controls animals in the wilderness to fight and can gain some as pets. Scales well with strength/dex and int

9. Dragoon

Uses a dragon to fight. Upon age dragoons receive a pet dragon that is linked to them. Uses sword or lance. Scales well with strength, dex and vit

10. Thief

Relies on crits and back damage. Steals items. Scales well with dex

11. Blue Mage

Uses and learns abilities that are used against him and can remember them and store them. Scales well with int, wisdom, dex, and str

12. Red Mage

Uses sorc and priest abilities. Neither is as damage as if you pick sorc of priest , because they have more focused abilities while yours are less powerful and you have more of them. Scales well with wisdom and int.

13. Fighter

Uses hand to hand combat. Scales well with strength, dex, vit, and endurance

Note , anyone can change their classes now that you have read all this. This is to give you insight as to what classes and races can work well together in order make your character last longer in a series. If your race has starting stats that do compliment your class well, you may last less longer than someone who is more proficient. That is not always true but it could happen :)
