So I now have 3k friends, and as I promised I will offer some nice words to all that have signed up for me to do so.

The sign up thread can be viewed here:

http://www.debate.org...

Since it's going to take me a decent amount of time to write-up and post all of these, I am going to post them as I finish around every 10 or so. Everyone is free to continue to sign up, until some arbitrary time of my choosing, some time in the future. So sign up or waive your right to claim that you weren't included.

1) YYW - - YYW has been one of my closest friends on the site for awhile now and though I said a lot about him when I wrote his hall of famw write up, there's probably enough I could say about him and our relationship to max out the character limit for this post.

Since I don't have the time to do that, I'll just say that YYW and I don't always agree. In fact we probably agree only about half the time, and that's exactly why since the very first conversation we had, I've consistently sought out his opinions on things concerning me. Regardless of whether he agrees with me, I know YYW will provide his honest and often blunt opinion about something, and that has been invaluable these last couple years.

I think more importantly though, even when YYW and I have disagreed with each other in a meaningful way, we have always maintained a strong friendship. This isn't just about disagreeing philosophically, on more than one occasion I know that I have annoyed YYW, and I can say the same for him. There have definitely been times where I was upset or pissed off and was just angry with him. But meaningful friendships transcend these occasional or even constant times where one is at odds with another, and that is what YYW and I have. We a friendship built on mutual respect, and an understanding that while we will disagree with each other, or the actions of the other, that what ties us together is far more important. YYW has enriched my DDO experience beyond what it would be otherwise and he has been a friend when I needed one every time.

2) RevNge - - - Rev, I don't know you too well. We've had a few chats, but nothing too in depth or significant. We've played mafia a few times I believe, and you didn't annoy me so props for that. I think you're a really smart kid and you're a good member of the community. I especially enjoyed your music debate where you played the piano. That was really impressive, and I know I couldn't play the piano that well. It's really cool that you're able to do that, and share it with the community.

When I think about Rev, the first thing that always comes to my mind is pronouncing his name. For some reason my mind will just forever pronounce your username as Rev-En-Gee. I don't know what that's supposed to mean, but it certainly makes your name unique. I think it's supposed to be "Revenge", but my mind never reads it that way.

Aside from that, you are an active contributor with (holy cheese) nearly 8k posts. I think you've said some interesting things, and you've made some interesting contributions, so keep on keepin' on. You are a young member, but you've certainly made yourself a niche in the community, which is always nice to see, so keep being the fun and decent person you are. You seem like an interesting young man and I don't have any problems with you generally, so stick around.

3) Imabench - - - I could probably dedicate an entire thread to Imabench. I think more than anyone else, members of DDO are probably more curious about my intereactions and relationship with Bench than anyone else.

Bench and I have done some great work together that was incredibly enjoyable for me. The Hitler vid, the WS movie and other things. It's always been a joy when I get the chance to work on something fun with Bench. He's one of the most creative members on the site, and though his temperment is well known, it's hard to seperate the two.

Bench was one of my first friends on the site. I believe that the first lengthy conversation I had with any DDO memebr was with Imabench. I laughed out loud (literally) when I recalled this, but when I did a song debate with Oryus a few years back and posted a utube vid with strong language, Bench is the guy I contacted to ask "hey, if I post this vid will I get banned?". I don't think I'll ever be able to get over the irony of that in retrospect.

Bench and I have certainly had our arguments. We've been angry at each other and I've spent my fair share of time hassling him about everything. But at the end of the day, Bench is one of those people who I can rely on to keep things interesting, and do great work when called upon. That doesn't mean I probably wont temp-ban him again at some point in the future, but I believe that he knows it isn't personal and that in the end we'll still be friends and work together on the next greatest thing anyone on DDO has ever seen. That's entirely because of Bench though, you give him an idea and he'll make it a masterpiece.

4) EndarkenedRationalist - - - My Jewish brother from another mother. Endark and I have certainly disagreed on things, but we've always moved forward amicably. He's definitly contributed a lot to the site, especially with several excellent debates and fanfiction. Speaking of fan fiction, after a particularly heated disagreement, Endark brought up the fanfics and we now have a thread in the entertainment forum dedicated to displaying them. He gathered all of the fanfics up to that point, which was a huge help and was probably very time consuming. So mad props to Endark for that. He should certainly feel some sense of pride every time he looks at that thread because he played a huge role in making it happen.

Aside from that, Endark is often making interesting or funny comments in the forums. He's a good guy who I appreciate is around, and though he and I don't talk too often, I definitely appreciate his insight and contributions on the site in general.

5) That1User - - - I don't really know That1User too well, and we haven't chatted too much. I do think his username is clever though, and it leads to all kinds of fun Abbot and Costello like situations (one that actually took place in a G+ hangout not too long ago). So kudos for that, That1User.

There really isn't a whole lot I can say unfortunately since we haven't interacted a whole lot. That's often a good thing though, and I can't say that even if I was someone willing to do so, that I could say anything negative about T1U (The cool kids just call him T1). He seems like a nice guy, has made some interesting posts, and has had several interesting debates. So keep on keepin' on T-OneU.

6) 1harderthanyouthink - - - 1Harder has been around for over a year now, and though I don't talk to him on any kind of regular basis, it's been interesting to see his development on the site. He's been willing to share his personal thoughts about himself with us, and usually willing to offer an opinion on things in the forums, and that's always welcome. Though we haven't talked much, 1harder is an interesting and bright guy from the conversations I've had with him, and from his comments publicly, he certainly has a valuable and unique perspective to offer when he's willing.

I'm also really happy to see how you've gotten better as a member from the time that you started using the site to now, and I also know that there are some people here who really care about you and have really done what they can to get to know you. I think that you're the kind of person who can bring out the best in people, which isn't something I can say about many.

7) SamStevens - - - Sam would probably be the first to tell you that he is a quiet and resevered type of person, and that he's not the type that's going to dominate a conversation or be the loudest in the room - and for as long as I've known him this is an honest and accurate assessment. Thankfully, I've had the chance to talk with him a bit and I don't think there's anything negative I could say about him. He's an interesting guy, who has been a good contributor to the site. He hangs out on G+ with us sometimes and I hope that he'll eventually speak up more often because, based on his posts on DDO and the few times I've heard him speak, I know that he has interesting things to say.

Also, since I think this is the first time you've ever been mentioned in one of those shout-out things, cheers. We'll all raise a glass to you losing your shout-out virginity! I've noticed that since you've joined the site you've tried to contribute in a fairly wide range of areas, which is pretty cool. Definitely good to be well rounded.

8) FREEDO - - - Freedo is Freedo, and that's probably the best compliment anyone can really offer. He's a fun, genuine and bright guy who really makes things interesting. While I don't always entirely understand all of the threads he's posted, I know when I see his name as the author, it's going to be unique and interesting.

Since it's been a little while now, few around now probably know (or remember) that Freedo was my VP during my second term as DDO President. It was great that he agreed to run with me and serve the site in this way, and it was great having him act in that capacity. It's been said that my perosnality is often overly reserved and robotic and it's hard to argue with that. I think Freedo complimented me in a way that few possibly could have. More importantly, while Freedo in many ways epitomizes an often chaotic, free, and fun type of mentality, I don't believe that I have ever seen him have fun an anyone's expense. Freedo is fun, intelligent, and has always been a gentleman. There are very few that have that type of personality and always maintain a cool civil attitude, but Freedo is that guy. Always fun to interact with, and always a genuine standup person, I hope Freedo will stick around for a long time on DDO.

Freedo has been inactive for awhile lately, but it's been great to see his name pop up every time lately that it does. Freedo is a rare gem for the site, and he's a treasure I hope it never loses.

9) Bluesteel - - - Bluesteel and I have regualarly chatted for awhile now and like some other members, I could probably max out the character limit of this post saying nice things about him.

Bluesteel is clearly brilliant. He's an expert debater and one of this sites most accomplished members. But I think all of this pretty much goes without saying and anyone who has been here long enough already knows this is the case.

I don't exactly recall when Bluesteel and I started talking regularly, but whenever it happened, since then we've probably discussed every aspect of the site. Bluesteel has made significant contributions to the site when I've asked, and though they aren't always manifested in a way that members notice, it's made him one of my go-to members when I need help with something. Most recently, Bluesteel agreed to be the voting issues moderator, and the positive contributions he's made through this can't be measured. He's been a huge asset to me, and to the site in general, and now in this official capacity, his contributions can already be felt in a singificant way on a daily basis. I simply can not say enough about how much of a difference it makes to have him help in this manner. It's not easy and it takes a real time committment every day, but Bluesteel has done a spectacular job and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with him and develope voting issues even further.

Even without that though, Bluesteel is one of DDOs greatest contributors. He makes interesting, insightful and fun comments in the forums, and without Bluesteel, the site would truly be missing something significant. It means a lot to the site to have him around, and as one of my moderation staff and one of my friends, it means a lot to me.

10) WillYouMarryMe - - WYMM has been around for about a week. We've had one conversation, and I don't really know much about this guy. Seems like a decent chap, has a clever enough username - which always makes me think 'for the last time, no' when I read it.... but it's not personal.

WYMM has done some interesting debates though, and seems like a bight guy, so I hope he sticks around. So, WYMM keep on keepin on and let me know if you ever need anything.

11) ResponsiblyIrresponsible - - - Nice choice of username. Me and this guy go way back and we've certainly had our issues and disagreements but in general he's a good contributor and brings a necessary perspective to the site. It's always nice to chat with him about whatever (often econ and mafia) in G+ hangouts, and it's always interesting, to be as diplomatic as possible, to play the mafia games he mods. In all seriousness though, with only a couple exceptions, I generally enjoy his mafia games. They are unique and who the heck knows what's going on sometimes. While it's easy to complain about balance and broken rules and set-up, when you have played as many games as we have in G+ sometimes you just need to play a "Joey game" - which essentially means that it could end up in a simultaneous "WTF" from everyone involved. But that's ok because it keeps things new and interesting and that's often necessary.

Otherwise, RI is a bright guy who has interesting thoughts on econ and US social policy in general. While I like to tease him about being a bleeding heart socialist loon, for the most part I'm just egging him on and actually probably agree with him more often than not. We probably wont ever agree on everything, but even when we don't (or especially) it's always interesting to discuss it with him when we have the chance.

What the hell, man... why am I not included?!? I feel hurt.

I'm quitting DDO. See you later, losers.

He was obviously immensely psychologically disturbed, but if he wasn't psychologically disturbed, and I was single... I'd probably not be opposed to having sex with him. He had a cute face... even if he was evil beneath.

That's what you get for being Eliott Roger.

He was obviously immensely psychologically disturbed, but if he wasn't psychologically disturbed, and I was single... I'd probably not be opposed to having sex with him. He had a cute face... even if he was evil beneath.

I think that's a fair point. Obviously I'm not gay, but I could even agree that he was a fairly attractive guy, so absent the clear mental imbalances he was suffering from, he would probably be a decent candidate.

I will say this, too... as far as mixed-race people go... white and asian mutts usually turn out to be the hottest.

Interesting...I find it rather fascinating that, given his appearance and his obvious wealth and connections, he found it so hard to find a date. But I guess socializing for him was just too unbearable.

12) YamaVonKarma - - - I think you're kind of quirky, but there's a place for everyone on DDO and I'm happy to see that you've found yours. Aside from this, your unique personality and style, I don't really know you all that well. I don't believe we have spoken much, nor interacted much in the forums. I do know that you are an interesting individual though, and as long as that's done in a nicely spirited and fun way I don't have any complaints. In your case, that is the case, so keep on having fun and making DDO a slightly more fun and interesting place for us all.

13) Bsh1 - - - Bsh1 is one of the nicest, kindest and most genuinely good people you will ever find on DDO and anywhere else. I don't think there's one negative thing I could possibly say about him, and I've known him pretty well for awhile now.

Bsh and I have chatted many times about many DDO issues and otherwise, and aside from just the value gained from his perspective in these conversations, I am constantly amazed and inspired by his dedication. Bsh is one of the few people that when I need something done or an opinion on something, I know he'll happily assist. It's gotten to the point where I think that sometimes I just shouldn't ask because I've already asked too much. I know he'll help out in every way that he can because he's that type of guy and really enjoys DDO and wants to contribute in every way that he can, but he's done so much that it is sometimes hard to ask him to do more.

Bsh has done a lot for the site, and for me, and currently is hosting two official DDO tournaments (Februarys reg tourny and March Begnners), and he has also regularly hosted beginner mafia games. Aside from just being a great and nice guy, a huge contributor to the site, he also happens to be brilliant and is responsible for some of the sites finest debates.

Bsh is exactly the type of member we need hundreds more of, and is a member that I am proud that we have.

14) Krieg01 - - - I don't really know Krieg. Seems like a nice guy, though I don't think we have interacted too much. The fact that I haven't PM'd him much is probably a good thing, so I am left to assume he's a good contributor without any negative factors associated with him. He's got over 1000 posts and done 8 debates, so he's contributed enough and never been threatened in any way by me, so he should keep up the good work.

15) Sapphique - - - We've only had one conversation, but it was one that reflected an interest in being a positive and good contributor to this site. So as long as she sticks around, I have a good feeling she will be an excellent member. Aside from that, Sapphique is too new and unknown for me to say much about. Her minimal activity so far (it's only been a week since she joined) doesn't lend to me saying much else, but she seems like a nice young lady and someone interested in enjoying DDO in a positive way... So enjoy the site Sapphique, and let me know if you ever need help with anything.

16) Skepsikyma - - - Skep and I haven't spoken or interacted in the forums much but I know he's a really smart guy with a level head on his shoulders and I believe he adds a lot of value to the community. I think he kind of took a break for a little while from the site, but I'm really happy to see that he's back. Otherwise, Skep makes very interesting posts in the forums that I've enjoyed reading many times, and is one of the smartest members around. I hope he continues contributing to the site for a long time.

17) PetersSmith - - - PetersSmith is a great member who is by far the most prolific contributor to the polls section that the site has ever seen. I'm happy to see that she's branched out more frequently to the forums section since she often has interesting things to say. She's definitely an interesting voice for the site, especially as it comes to the polls section, so I'm happy to see her more active within other aspects of the site.

She's also become extremely valuable to me as a kind of de facto assistant moderator of the polls section, letting me know when those annoying poll trolls pop up so that they can be disposed of quickly. Though I believe she thinks she's annoying me sometimes, her assistance has been very helpful, and I'm grateful that she continues to offer it.

In fact, just recently PetersSmith agreed, and is now the official junior moderator of the polls section. So if any member needs any assistance with that section, she's happy to help.

PetersSmith has been a great contributing member to the site, one of the biggest contributors to the polls section, and is now helping in an official capacity. She certainly has an interesting perspective to offer and has been a great contributor to the site.

DDO is Nazi Germany with the Jews and Aryans reversed. The Polls section is basically the equivalent of a Jewish Ghetto - the impure are kept there. Notice how she's only a "junior" moderator, reporting directly to Big-Dog Airmax, granting the oppressed and dishevelled the illusion of control.
