I've noticed that a few users are making lists of topics they would be interested in debating. So I will shamelessly hop on the bandwagon. I will categorize each topic by a subject.
I currently don't have the time to do these debates. Or at least, not until Saturday.

Politics
- EU Sanctions against Russia should be lifted (Pro)
- Morsi's verdict should be appealed (Pro)
- The Northern Gateway Pipeline should be built (Con)
- Western Intervention is counter-productive in the stabilization of the Levant (Pro)

Religion
-Abu Bakr's election as Caliph was lawfully legitimate. (Pro)
-Islam is the most logical of the Abrahamic faiths (Pro)
-Islam is the most violent of the Abrahamic faiths (Con)
-The Fine-Tuned argument is sound (Pro)
- The Islamic State is not a legitimate Caliphate (Pro, resolution subject to change)

History
- Greece would have been better off under (Achamenid) Persian rule (Pro)
- Religion was not the primary cause for the Taiping Revolt (Pro)
- Religion was not the primary cause for the First Crusade (Pro)
- China would have been better off under the Guomingdang (Pro or Con, position not yet affirmed)
- France would have been better off under Moorish rule [Pro, guaranteed flamebait ;)]

"Death Battle" Debates
-Guts vs Cloud (Pro-Guts)
-Goku vs Superman (Pro-Goku)

I don't know why everybody makes these lists. Why not just go to the debate challenge section and start up a debate on whatever topic you want. If you're worry about not getting a good opponent, you can always make it to where nobody can accept it until they leave a comment in the comment section.
"When a wise man has a controversy with a foolish man, the foolish man either rages or laughs, and there is no rest." ~Proverbs 29:9

"Not to know of what things one should demand demonstration, and of what one should not, argues want of education." ~Aristotle

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." ~Aristotle

I actually made a debate challenge for a few of these topics. But I can't find anyone interested in those topics. So I decided to post them here

I like this one!

If you want to debate it, PM me or something. We can work out positions and a resolution.

OKay, guess I'll do Pro then. Won't be able to do the debate until next week though.
