On the far bottom right, there is an option to opt-out of the mobile version and to revert to a desktop version. It's next to the Sitemap and Copyright stuff. Click on that if you don't wish to have the mobile version.

And also as a heads up:

Even after selecting that it does generally load by loading the mobile site, then recognizing your preference selection (at least on my phone and browser), so don't be surprised if it starts to load weird; it'll settle when the page fully loads.

Yeah, it does that to me too!

Also, if I make the size of my browser page on my computer smaller, DDO reverts back to the "mobile" version even though I'm on a laptop. That's the worst, lol

Is there another button somewhere that allows me to opt out of the updates that have been made since 2009?

If you make the page smaller, you can go to the corner and click the "view desktop version," too. It will correct for that just as it will for the mobile update.

Sure thing. I think the button should be more prominently displayed, but at least it's there. No one should have to endure that awful formatting :)

When I click "switch to mobile version," I don't see a difference between it and the desktop version...

You want to use the mobile version? I mean, try refreshing the page.
