I have a suggestion, just a suggestion, for renaming the political parties. Perhaps we could all be aligned with a party coresponding to our location in the political compass.

The Authoritarian-Left Party.

The Authoritarian-Right Party.

The Centrist Party.

The Libertarian-Left Party.

And the Libertarian-Right Party.

Parties don't exist to map out the spectrum of all possible positions. They exist to ally relatively compatible positions (relative to compatibility with the other partys' memberships' positions) that are prevalent enough that organization will get them somewhere.

I think the Peace and Freedom Party has a nice ring to it.

A corruption of the term "freedom." Pick better term. And "political" is all of them. "Procedural decentralization" perhaps. It's accurate.

Then cite sources: that political scale was obtained from NationStates.net, even if the graph was not.

I actually found it on 4chan, so I wasn't sure where it was originally from.
