I've said this a ton of times, and I'll say it again: Your excessive quotations are extremely annoying, and make a thread often very unpleasant to read due to it being too cluttered. STOP. If you're not using a phone, how about spending a few extra seconds sorting your post out? Let me give an example.

Are you going to believe it?
Yes sure whatever but obviously not true.
I disagree.
I don't. Need sources.

This is even a mild example, but is still annoying.

I disagree.
I don't. Need sources.

Good. This is better. Easier to read, follow a conversation, and makes a thread more pleasant overall. So, if you're not using a mobile phone in which formatting is difficult, please take a few seconds to sort out these quotations. Thank you.

Right, but it only takes a few seconds. It's not a huge inconvenience for the poster, but it significantly improves thread readability.

Some quote pyramids are useful, but when you get massive posts that are inches long on my screen, it makes it really annoying to scroll down and get to what I want to see.

Well, Mirza made a useful post.

But I agree. People are too quick to press the quote button and add in their replies without realizing how unreadable they are making their post.

Best is to make a text-wall. Second best is to edit out parts of the quote that are irrelevant and leave only the important parts.

I don't understand how you pared down that quote; can you explain the process in detail?

I would have never used this site for as long as I did if it had real threading. Real threading is, honestly, one of the most user-unfriendly concepts ever.

Sort of new forum software (not happening) I agree with trimming the junk.
