So...I'm gonna try this again...YYW suggested some months ago that I advertise my fan fic...The Entertainment forum can be a bit obscure sometimes. So, I've decided to do this, but I'll just have the one thread so I don't spam the main forum. Please feel free to comment on the threads, even the older ones; there are only a few more installments left in the series anyway. Most of the posts are pretty short.

I'm going to have to reread these before I read Chapter 7. I assume most others will as well.

People should read this, but read it one chapter at a time...

"The conflict had been a conflagration of militant groups warring with one another. Over the years, many factions coalesced into two, and those two set about burning what was left of civil society into the dust: the Order of Neighbors, led by now-President Blade, and the Freedom League, led by Imabench. The latter had truly been horrific in its crimes, guilty of a genocide against all those it deemed inferior, against all those who disagreed with the edicts laid forth by its founder, against all who befriended or abetted dissenters. Hundreds of thousands perished. The "cleansing" of the areas controlled by the FL was unparalled in recent history, and the ironic lack of freedom the FL created was the condition under which millions were forced to live."

This sounds really f*cking realistic im gonna start following it :D

Lol somebody's been reading world war military history.

Was the battle tactic stuff planned from conception of did you just drift into it as the story went on? It feels like there's a tone shift when you get into the war games. The early chapters have small settings focused on personal details, the later you seem to be having more fun plotting military strategy. Maybe there will be telescoping focus as the YYW plotline develops? That seems in line with the private public theme.

Also I'm really worried about the short lifespan ON generals seem to have.

I needed to set up the plot, which required a deviation from what I had done before. It should switch back.

I am not really satisfied to be honest, but I don't think it's terrible.

Well, I'll give one example. The Blade quotes were inspired by the thought-terminating cliches in Orwell's 1984.

There are some directional issues with it, certainly places I wish I hadn't taken it--like the military stuff recently. I wish I had decided to stay on the vignettes. But, mostly it's just a lot of little things I notice and dislike.

Not really, because I've already released it. I don't think I have a ton of readers as it is, and prolonging the series could only cause interest to fall. I will likely just try to steer the remaining chapters back on course.

Would you rather publish it on some other site (obviously replacing the character names) like wattpad, whilst also revising what you don't like about it?

What aren't you satisfied about it? Do you think changing any major plot points would make it better?

There are some directional issues with it, certainly places I wish I hadn't taken it--like the military stuff recently. I wish I had decided to stay on the vignettes. But, mostly it's just a lot of little things I notice and dislike.

Do you think it would be better to rewrite it before continuing on?

Not really, because I've already released it. I don't think I have a ton of readers as it is, and prolonging the series could only cause interest to fall. I will likely just try to steer the remaining chapters back on course.

Possibly, but Juggle owns the copyright, so I am not sure how that'd work.

Wow, that's dumb. Even though it's your story. Although, I don't think Juggle would even notice.

Couldn't you have put your work in a Google document and post the link onto the site for viewing or would that not bypass the copy right stipulations?
