Another six months has passed so it is time for another community wide taking of the Political Compass Test.

The point of the community taking this test is to see where the community stands as a whole on the political spectrum.

The test can be taken here: https://www.politicalcompass.org...

Once you have finished the test, please post your results to this forum. After I have been given a sufficient amount (at least 30) of results, I will graph all of the results on one graph.

You can view graphs from the past one and a half years here:

So, to put that in perspective, I'm further to the left than Noam Chomsky, more anti-government than Pyotr Kropotkin, but less radical than Emma Goldman or Ghandi. I am considerably further to the left than Nelson Mandella. I am as anti government as Barack Obama. I am as economically to the left as Joseph Stalin, but less so than Mao or Pol Pot. I am diametrically opposed (on both the X and Y axis) to Sarah Palin (who is a statist economic conservative), Margaret Thatcher (also a statist economic conservative), with Charles de Gaulle being a close second. Nicolae Ceau57;escu is more economically conservative than I am.

However, this test presents an unnuanced, very cut and dry perspective that fails to capture the vast majority of the issues themselves, and totally ignores the issues' relative importance to one another. It assumes equal weight to all, and the majority of the stuff on there I don't care about. But I'm pretty damn close to Chomsky, which is neat.

Farthest left and most libertarian I've been, I believe. I'm usually like 6.00/6.00, +/- .50.
Why?

Am I really the only person on DDO who still is right-wing on economics?

Depends on what you define as right-wing.

The first three I think of are 16k, DK, and Wylted.
