This place is often a drama farm in which it's easy to focus exclusively on the bad, no matter what good there is. More importantly, some things are actually changing for the better... So please, share something you like (could be a fixed site error, a new member with potential, whatever).

To kick this off (fingers crossed this isn't the only post), I would like to thank everyone who has an AMA on the Personal Forum, for having it there, instead of on the main forum as used to be the trend.

The "Start a New Debate" in the Debates section. I put all these things before in another post. Wait and I'll get back.

I have a 10-0-0 debate record with an ELO ranking of 2,814. From 610th during my first two-week stay, I am now 326th in the Debates Leaderboard: http://www.debate.org...

It was well before your time, but AMA's used to clutter the main forum in a similar manner to these three months early presidential bids.

You're welcome.

I'd like to thank Endark for creating the Slightly Better World series, which highlights some of the more positive news going on around the globe.

I would like to share my gratitude to the members who have legitimately influenced a change in my position on a matter, or those who have left lasting impacts.

RoyL. - Thank you for getting me off of the gold standard.

Bluesteel - Thank you for teaching me so many things. Mainly voting standards, impact analysis, legal theories, and even that one time that you convinced me all women weren't prostitutes.

Bladerunner - Thank you for teaching me about proper sourcing, defending against source spamming, source impact analysis, the validity of a atheist and theist agnostic stance, and handling loss.

Bsh1 - Thank you for showing me that the occupy movement really did achieve some good, resulting in me changing my position on that big issue, and for the inclusion in your various programs for the sake of bettering the site.

Zaradi - Thank you for teaching me the ways of the K, and all of the awesome times during our DnD sessions. Best GM ever.

Kasmic - Thank you for delivering me my first and only loss. It was the most humbling experience I've ever had on this site, and has pushed me to go beyond the limits I previously placed on myself.

Mikal - Thank you for all the various debate advice you've offered throughout my time here, for being my go-to guy during rap battles, the incredibly fun ride during your presidency, and for having my back during the fallout thereafter.

Wylted - Thank you for the various discussions we've held in private throughout our time on this site, for being a solid member of the Supreme Council of Determination, and for being a non-stop source of entertainment with your amazing debates.

Airmax - Thank you for the various advice you've provided me on all sorts of matters, for all the fun hangout sessions throughout the years, and for being a generally great guy here on the site.

Whiteflame - Thank you for the moderating advice you've provided and continue to provide for me, for being my #2 guy during the glorious Supreme Council of Determination days, and for always being an inspiration with both your debates and votes.

ResponsiblyIrresponsible - Thank you for being my first arch-enemy on the site, for being a solid friend upon our reconciliation during the Supreme Council of Determination days, for all of the economic wisdom you've bestowed upon me, mafia, and finally acknowledging that cats > dogs.

EndarkenedRationalist - Thank you for inspiring me to write again. I don't even think you realize it but the time I spent in your writing group got the fire burning again. I'm on chapter 7 now in my book, made more progress on it in the last 2 months than I have in the last 2 years.

There are others, but this group has truly earned my gratitude for the reasons I've given above.

It's not a "who", it's a "what". The term AMA is short for 'Ask Me Anything' and this comment is in regards to the ask me anything threads located in the personal sub-forums.
