I have spent the past several weeks lurking this website. I do not think I will be a permanent member (doesn't seem like a good fit for me, sorry), but I am intrigued by this election. It could just be because this is election season in the real world, but I find myself very engrossed in the horserace. (Go Kasich!)

I have been lurking for a few weeks. I could be reasonably considered an honorary member.

That my account was created 10 minutes ago, however, should have no bearing on the integrity of my survey, unless you think I will tamper with the results. The results are available in real time after you cast your vote. I also logged out of my surveymonkey account and don't plan to log back on, so there's that.

I figured that, with all these chatter over this election, you might want a real poll. People don't tend to vote truthfully without a secret ballot, which is a time-honored tradition in the United States and elsewhere. That is why the "straw poll" Wylted posted will not do any good in my opinion.

How long ago you created your account has everything to do with the integrity of your survey!

I'd trust Lannon if he made a poll, cuz he is the only active member that I've seen that isn't leaning toward anyone.

The one thing I'd be careful with is that even Survey Monkey can be unreliable. People often change their IP addresses to vote multiple times. It's happened when I've done surveys with it before.

This is a bogus poll, as Seventh/Skep AND Jedi4 were left off.

It is a survey monkey poll do you think it contains a virus or something? Some Malware?

What does the amount of time he has been on the site have to do with the trustworthiness of survey monkey?

It's the trustworthiness of who is reporting the results that I'm concerned about - unless there is a link to view the results on survey monkey, I wouldn't trust a member who just made a profile to report them accurately. They could say anything!

What are you doing on the forums, don't you have debates to troll?

The idea that I'm "fixing" this poll when I have no interest or attachment to the results except for the entertainment value from the horserace is just false. If this is how you treat new members, immediately attacking their integrity, I am not surprised that you guys have so much drama so often. The lack of critical thinking and the willingness to jump to conclusions is also a very big issue.

You should be able to view the results after voting. Here they are:

Wylted/Rosalie
34.00% 17
DK/TUF
12.00% 6
Imabench
36.00% 18
I am undecided amongst these three.
2.00% 1
I am unsatisfied with these choices, but will likely choose one.
2.00% 1
I am unsatisfied with these choices, and will abstain unless a candidate I support enters the race.
2.00% 1
I am unsatisfied with these choices, and will write another candidate in.
12.00% 6

Solon was right. A few people voted many times for the same person within several minutes of each other. I've deleted those votes and posted the updated results below:

Hopefully this dispenses with the notion that I'm not trustworthy.

Why am I not surprised.....

I do have one question though, How did DK and Tuf GAIN a vote after duplicate votes were canceled out?

If I had to guess, someone must have voted for DK and TUF either while or before I was looking through the votes.
