It is in my belief that there is not enough voting going on to offer an accurate representation of a debate. One can just give one a self vote and could win a debate they clearly lost. My suggestion is that people write links to debates that need voting and voters can click these and make their selection.

I have voted for you. Its crazy how many people wither put one one sentence for their round or forfeit half the debate.

just a question, if the voting period for a debate does not end, who wins?

The winner can change at any time. Whoever is winning at the time is given a "win" mark on their record, which, if some people vote, can change to a "lose" on their record.

I try to go into the recently ended debates and review them when I get the chance. I agree with you that more people should be voting. Whether the votes are pro or con I feel like this is positive feedback for my next debate. Also, I believe that vote-bombing should be thwarted somehow.

One problem that turns up is that some people don't want to go through the effort of reading the entire debate. If it is a subject that they already have an opinion on, they may skip the debate and vote based on their own views, not the actual debate.

I support the idea. I actually really like reading debates, so if anyone needs an RFD e-mail me and lemme know.

It only has a day left in the voting period... If you know policy debate please judge. One guy even voted for me in the comment section but did not cast a vote in any way.

I never thought that the voting ever determined who won or lost a vote.
