I try and it does not work for me.

You have to have the correct image formatting to do it.

The "New Members Read Me" thread contains a good explanation, from Imabench: http://www.debate.org...

In fact, you should -as should any new member- read the whole "New Members Read Me" thread.

The best way to do this is to use HTML, because it allows you to customize the Height and Width of the photo.

So you have to switch out of rich text and use the normal version (allows html).

Put in this line of code:

<img src-"putlinkforimagehere" height="350" width="350" />

You can edit the height and width to whatever number you want. Click review to see what the pic looks like with each change. Copy and paste the code first though with each change cuz when you review, it and go back, it removes the code.

The easier way is to upload a photo to your album and copy and paste it to the debate, but you have no control over the size at that point.

I agree that the HTML method is easier and much more flexible. I explored the limmits of HTML in debates, and you can do a lot.

What I really wanted to add to this is... Use one or the other size constraints, not both. That is height OR width. The images original aspect ratio will be correct that way.

I use html in debates, and for whatever reason people think I leave a thousand extra characters on the table. Now that I am more familiar with html, I'll probably get more comments/complaints about it.
