OMG - I had no idea! I've always been a fan of Prince, from his Prince (album) and Controversy days thru the 90's. I haven't heard much of his newer music I'll admit, but i love most of the music I ever heard of his.

I never liked him. The dude was such an unbelievable jackass. I was never able to get into his music because of his personality.

Is it bad that I only listened to two or three of his songs before, so I didn't really know who he was? Wish I knew about him before he actually died...

Yeah, I didn't really care of him either, but he was VERY popular.

Do you get in trouble for posting in the wrong forum section, though?

Also, in seriousness, I'm guessing it's a big deal since it's today's Google Doodle. I think Google Doodles are a reliable source of relevant information.

I also frequently cite Wikipedia in research papers.

Not normatively, unless it's egregiously wrong or consistent.

Also, in seriousness, I'm guessing it's a big deal since it's today's Google Doodle. I think Google Doodles are a reliable source of relevant information.

I would agree.

I also frequently cite Wikipedia in research papers.

Generally accurate, though I would suggest using the hyperlinks cited, instead. Usually more trustworthy. In reality, though, most relevant topics are moderated and falsified information is removed in a few minutes, usually.

Prince and Bowe. Look, I am going to be blunt. Prince was a great guy, but he the black Bowie. Not that he did not appeal to white guys like me, no, not at all. Its just that Prince was the avant garde black man. That was... cool.

Bowie will have a place in my heart that Prince will never fill. For the odd white guy, Bowie was the liberating force. I hope, and believe that prince was that guy for many an odd black kid. That is great.

They both deserve so much of the parse they receive at death. Their lives were lived large and personalty. Neither cared one bit what you or I though of them, yet were a part of our very makeup. Each did things that we wish we could do. Change our name to a symbol, pretend to be from outer-space. They are great men, great models for life.

*Censored* I should've exaggerated further.

It's a source if it is something from which you can derive information. It meets that qualification and is thus a source. Perhaps it is not exhaustive, but it is nonetheless a source.

I feel that something of such relevance deserves attention.

Do you get in trouble for posting in the wrong forum section, though?

Not normatively, unless it's egregiously wrong or consistent.

Also, in seriousness, I'm guessing it's a big deal since it's today's Google Doodle. I think Google Doodles are a reliable source of relevant information.

I would agree.

Eh...I wouldn't consider it a source, though.

*Censored* I should've exaggerated further.

It's a source if it is something from which you can derive information. It meets that qualification and is thus a source. Perhaps it is not exhaustive, but it is nonetheless a source.

A source of extensive information, I mean. All it does is celebrate something to emphasize its significance.

For example, it's celebrating Prince's death. :3

I call the ban hammer.

Alright, give it up. What was your past account?

Don't forget to add the plural.

In seriousness, though, I found this site on Googs yesterday. I don't know what's wrong with a ban hammer.

Riight.

I'm more of a left, but each to his own.
Also, in seriousness, I'm guessing it's a big deal since it's today's Google Doodle. I think Google Doodles are a reliable source of relevant information.

I would agree.

I was somewhat sarcastic, since I don't know how many people take Doodles seriously. I'm inclined to agree with this as well, though.

I figured, but I wasn't going to be cynical ;P

That's no fun.
I also frequently cite Wikipedia in research papers.

Generally accurate, though I would suggest using the hyperlinks cited, instead. Usually more trustworthy. In reality, though, most relevant topics are moderated and falsified information is removed in a few minutes, usually.

Just a heads up; this whole post was a joke, lol.

I realized that, lol. I was just trolling you back... xD

I feel trolled.

You should. You've been manipulated.

Is trolling noobs a bannable offense?
Have no regrets.
