For some reason I am not able to see them. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

Yes, I'm on a laptop running Windows 7 on Opera Browser. However, this problem is a recent phenomenon. I used to be able to see videos.

Just checked, and the problem is with Opera. Now to figure out what I need to do to fix it...

Only other real option is Chrome, and I do not like Chrome's UI.

What's not to like about Chrome's UI?

It's not as good as Opera's.

@ weebos:
Changing the theme or skin doesn't change the UI of the browser.

Well...I derped it up a bit. In Opera there's a built in ad-blocker that uses a GUI to physically disable certain elements of web-pages. I accidentally blocked an element that uses the same one that allows the Youtube videos to come through. So my non-problem is now solved.
