Granted I'm new to the site, so be it.
One of the first things I noticed was that I couldn't find a way to edit my own posts, with regards to correct misspellings, or whatever.
Are there any alternatives to Report Post in order to be able to edit my own posts?
How come the (own) post editing tool is not available for regular members?
Bronto?
Congrats.

There isn't one unfortunately.

No. That would lead to too many complications. Especially on a debate site. If your spelling is so bad that nobody can understand just respond to the post clarifying the spelling.

Thanks.

I guess post editing could lead to unwanted/unwarranted trolling, in which case the poster at hand should lose the Edit Post button.
I'm just frustrated that I can't correct my (simple) misspellings, even though that doesn't happen all that often I would never the less like to have the ability to correct my typos without the need to add extra posts in order to explain my spelling mistakes.

You can always check spelling.

Thanks, I'll try and use that from here on.

I deliberately made spelling mistakes here just to see wait Khyber.

So, besides a few words which came out correctly, "what" which I spelled "wat" wasn't on the list and "gives", which I spelled "ghivyes" didn't ring any bells either, as a matter of fact the suggested Khyber instead.

Anyway.

Btw, overly stupid spelling of "gives", granted.
