I have seen many RFDs posted in the forums, and I don't see the point.
Why can't you just post your RFD in the comments section of the debate?
Is there a purpose to posting it in the forums?

It's more convenient and practical since there's a much lower character count limit in the comments section of debates. So it's easier to just make a thread, than to post a lengthy RFD across multiple debate comments.

Okay then.
Thanks for clarifying.

I think the low character count should be taken as a hint. The RFD doesn't have to be as long as the debate. A few paragraphs is sufficient to get the point across. Is for me anyway. Life isn't that complex for me, I can see through all the BS.
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken

An additional factor is when there's a lot of comments on a debate, the RFD can be quickly buried. Plus in the same scenario, a voter might not want reminder emails for each new comment in case one of them is relevant to the vote.

I haven't switched yet, but I probably will (and probably all into the Misc. forum).
