2016 Vote Distribution

Check out the vote distribution for 10% of all debates in the post-voting period, which were created in 2016 so far.

X axis is number of votes. Y axis is frequency.

2015 was similar, but the mode was 1 vote, not 0 votes.

Of course, the year's not over and this could very well change.

I have graphs for 2012-2015. Also, 2011 and 2016 which is shown above, but these are based on incomplete data.

I will probably let my data scraper run tonight and tomorrow and try and go back further in time and find the trends the website had in the past.

I would be fascinated to see how the vote distribution over previous years change.
Might even be worth writing a paper on. How are you getting your data? Manually opening every 10th debate and counting?

It seems to fluctuate, however, according to the data I have, the mode has never been 0.

Might even be worth writing a paper on. How are you getting your data? Manually opening every 10th debate and counting?

I'm using a data scraper to cycle through the pages and automatically copy certain html fields into a csv file.
