So which countries would you say are currently the worlds economic leaders, and what will be different in the future? It seems that anything that happens to America also has an effect on the rest of the world, but countries like China and I think North Korea are progressing forward.

Pretty much except for France. It isn't awesome at the moment, and it will certainly get much worse.

China will not rise unless they cut the one child policy.

I'd say USA will still keep above China. America's got oil and natural gas being discovered, and China has an unstable government.

Just wait until it's whole welfare state is propped up by the one child policy generation.

Greece, North Korea (according to The Onion article, which North Korea wrote, everything is doing fantastic there), Mongolia (Yak is a burgeoning commodity), Cuba (world's largest exporter of Cubans), Somalia (no income tax for pirates), and Peru (tourists flock to the world's most dangerous road to be jack*sses by mountain biking next to poor-people-filled-buses and 3,000 foot drops).

I can give you the stats if you want..

Yes, and China, America and Germany are definitely going under. No doubt about that.

In terms of how much they are growing, the third world countries are light-years ahead of the developed world.

Wait... Why is their one child policy not favoured by the general consensus here? Are the reasons focussing on liberty, or it has some economic bases? Because economically, i feel the policy is quite progressive.
