There is the common misconception that "capitalism" means "support for the rich over the poor". That simply is not true.
In its earliest days, capitalism was actually considered a Liberal idea. Why? Because it was an idea that expressed the right of all people to compete in the marketplace and experience the same constitutional rights under the law, in sharp contrast to the Feudalistic ideas which permeated European society at the time.
Capitalism is, in other words, Market Neutrality (that is, the Government is unbiased in regulating it and all parties in the market which follow the law are treated the same by the Government).
Granted, some people, such as George Bush and even Barack Obama (despite being considered Liberal) have implemented measures giving unfair privileges to big businesses. However, this is actually contrary to the Capitalistic spirit.
Just felt like cleaning this up. You can get back to your own mundane lives now.
