If you say that notwithstanding with a return to the gold standard is a horrific idea then you should have appropriate reason supporting your view.

If you say that notwithstanding with a return to the gold standard is a horrific idea then you should have appropriate reason supporting your view.

It was a sarcastic comment. Was the comment not absurd enough?
