I know the answer.

What is the greatest challenge to any private business, day in day out, without exception.

Let's see how long this takes to get correct.

Nope. Not a stupid question, but i want to see if people really understand economics. It's a basic question about economics, with an obvious answer.

It always boils down to money, though. The whole point of being in business is MAKING MONEY. You can worry about all the advertising, customer service, and gimmicks that you want, but if the business is not profiting, no dice.

Money isn't a challenge or an obstacle, it's an objective or a goal.

The whole point of a business is to make money.
If build a house, the point of it is to have a place to stay. You may fix the roof, or the door, but the end point is shelter.

I really think whatever you say is going to = money.

Could you elaborate, please? My biggest challenge on a daily basis is keeping up with a changing market place. Advertising changes, economical climate changes, and changes in the laws(which are becoming more substantial than ever) all affect my business. So long as I stay in tune, and educated on these things, I can conduct a profitable business(the main objective)

This is the easiest question and answer to anyone who is in business. To anyone who studies economics it's lost on them. That is the point of this question. Where are the hard core libertarians that i have done battle with? They should know.

No. Without this thing that is my daily obstacle, i would be making a lot more money. Gigantic hint.

Well, I'm in business, and don't study economics. Bottom line is, it's all about the bottom line. This seems like a loaded question, and something tells me that my business will not start functioning better after the answer is revealed. If I'm right, and the answer is trivial, then the thread will have been for naught.

You're being vague. Trying to pin down one challenge doesn't seem like it would be that obvious, being that there are multiple challenges on a daily basis.

It is not trivial, and it is obvious. It is one of the primary components to a free market.
