I'm glad I'm spending my life looking out for my own happiness instead of being on a forum telling people that if they don't share my beliefs, their life is wasted and their happiness an illusion.

That would be a waste of a life.

By implication, Godsands raises a perennial philosophical question 'What is a good life?' It is a question that young people ought to seriously consider.

What's with you and bagging young people? Old people are far worse in terms of life-wasting. Worse drivers too. And they smell funny.

Must be. That's kind of sad in my opinion, but I won't judge. Whatever makes him happy, I just doubt he'll admit it.

I disagree.

If old people start seriously considering what it means to have a good life, they may be met with an answer they don't like, and at that point, it will be too late and they'll be very depressed. Young people can make the best out of it because they have time.

Not to mention that young people drive society while old people suck on the nipple of it.

How is this in disagreement with my statement?
