I've lived in the states for far to long now without seeing anything else. I'm a senior in high school and looking to travel for college in another country (Particularly Europe)

Anyone know of the better choices as far as good education, culterally rich, cheaper cost of living etc?

Be as broad or specific as you wish as far as where you recomend.

Nope, UK maybe? They have good universities there and could be nice if you want a setting and culture that is somewhat similar to your own.

Personally I would choose Germany, but that's just me since I can speak the language.

The Scandinavian nations, but they are too expensive for a foreign student. I am from Bosnia and things are cheap there compared to the rest of Europe. The culture is rich. The rest of the Balkans are similar. Croatia is also good, but not very cheap and I think you might find it kind of boring sometimes. Sarajevo is always filled with people.

How many languages do you speak?

You should have said that.

Do you prefer Europe?

Alright.

It is hard to be very specific because it might be that the nation is expensive for you or anything of that sort.

How about India? It is very cheap in many areas, and it is rich in culture. English is widely spoken, and people communicate easily with it.

India would actually be fascinating, at least to me.

Yes. Back in elementary school, my Christendom teacher went to India, and he said it is extremely cheap (especially since he is a Dane, they have a lot of money). You can drive a taxi all day long if you are a Western tourist. It is very cheap. It is more expensive in Mumbai, but India is huge.

Great! You can send the cash to my back account.

I am just kidding!

So, India is one suggestion. It is very different to USA. Another would be South Africa. It is not the safest country to be in, but it is fascinating and kind of makes Africa look different than how most people portray it as a whole. I do not know about prices, but I would say a bit more expensive than India, but still good. There are whites and blacks, so you get cultural diversity.

So, what's the aversion to stepping outside the english speaking world? Just learn the language; it won't kill you.

Just get out and remain open to other cultures and countries. Personally, I'd find it weird to study abroad but remain speaking English. Why not experience a new language? The Japanese are always open to international students and based off of personal experience, they are extremely helpful.
I'm not back. This idiot just upset me which made me stop lurking.
