I did Math for the whole day today studying for my 3rd IA. I swear... I see numbers... everywhere...

Thats a bare assertion

The Nirvana fallacy is comparing one realistic solution with an unrealistic or impossible one. Comparing two realistic and possible ideas is not related or has anything to do with the Nirvana fallacy. Revival of the education forums is not an impossible notion. There are plenty of teachers on the site, so logically they can add some content. As well as this even people who aren't teachers can comment on the education system. They can also compare different education systems. There is no impossibility here. The Nirvana fallacy is thus not applicable [1][2].

If that was the only issue, then vote moderation could be avoided more often, since a vote in which the voter does explain sufficiently how at least one point a debater made swung their vote, would be considered sufficient. -Airmax
