Why isn't the story of Enron in today's history books? Does it lack significance?

Not to say 9/11 is any less important, because its certainly not. However 9/11 is in today's history books, and the rise and fall of Enron happened generally in the same time.

Ya I was 11 when the Enron thing happened, it didn't mean anything to me at the time and I've never heard a single thing about it since then.
