I talked to someone who saw the whole movie early, and he said it was alright. Not great, but not bad. Said they really screwed up Fransisco's character, made him seem like a boring downer in the movie.
Should we subsidize education?

There's no way 'not' to screw up a character once you've already got an idea of what they are like in your imagination.

what if the character is exactly like what you though it should be like?

Then you are probably the producer of the film.

*Bump*

I heard a recent review. Apparently it's a 3 part series and because it doesn't have major studio backing, they have a controlled release where they have to rent theaters to get it started. There was a comparison to the Last Temptation of Christ where there was a built in audience, this may be true with followers of Ayn Rand coming out to support the movie. I also heard that it's a little weak in its connection to objectivism in favor of the story/characters.

I look forward to seeing it.

I'm going to go see it upon release if possible. If they're having to rent out theaters to show it, though, I might have to do a bit of traveling to find a place that's showing it.

Is that really in your rational self-interest? =P

Seeing it the day it comes out with my university's Young Americans for Liberty group. Should be fun.
