I have read grapes of wrath, The pearl, and of mice and men. So far I love his books. Any other reccomendations of his?

What do you guys think of this author?

I liked The Moon is Down, and the Red Pony doesn't totally suck. Steinbeck is good, but kinda establishes a groove that is distinctly he and no one else if you know what I mean.

It's kinda like hearing a certain music group and all of their songs sound very similar with little to no deviation.

"Travels with Charley" is in a different genre, a travelogue. Steinbeck takes a road trip around the US with his poodle, Charley. Steinbeck knew he was near death and wanted to see his country one last time.
