I was rewatching the end of toy story 3 and I had to say it made me cry the 2nd time around. I don't know If I would consider it the saddest but it's definetly ranked up there.

I was also rewatching boy meets world and for those of you who watched boy meets world I rewatched the mr turner accident episode and I was balling.

Oh man Beijing Bicycle destroys me every time. It plays so perfectly on my memories of unfairness as a child, and then in the end the way it collides into a very adult world. Its so morally challenging, and such a bummer.

That's not a sad ending! It was a wonderfully bitter-sweet ending. I got teary at both the end and the part where all the toys are holding hands as they fall into the incinerator, but it wasn't sad.

In fact, I don't think it's 'sad' bits that get me in movies. For example, the first time I read the scene in Deathly Hallows where Neville stands up to Voldemort when everyone thinks Harry is dead got me. It's not exactly sad, but very emotional.

I'm a big suck. :P

The closets I've come to crying in a movie was Morgan Freeman's funeral scene in The Bucket List. Jack Nicholson's crying while giving the eulogy really made it powerful, since his character basically never showed emotion.

For me, the saddest scene would probably be this scene. It's just beautiful to me:

I tell thee, 'tis not half so fair as thou
Or any man that breathes on earth.

Yeah, see, I found that scene, at least in the movie, to be cliched....

There are only two that stand out where I actually cried in the theater (not misty, but tears streaming down my face... f*ck, so embarrassing)

The Green Mile and Up... Other than that, I'm a cold, heartless son-of-a-bitch on the borderline of sociopathy.

Which part of the Green Mile made you cry?
The intro to Up was excellent. Not as tear-jerking as Toy Story 3, but very emotional.

Which part of the Green Mile made you cry?:

Alot of it... not just one scene. Something about the humanity and inhumanity of it impacted me. And I cried, I cried like a 10-year old girl!!!

Sorry, but me answering this thread would require I CAN get sad. I simply will put things that make me, somewhat, less normal, and stone-faced than before......which is nothing, cept maybe Hachi, and Passion of the Christ.

I guess every Lassie movie I've seen at the part where you think Lassie died. One of them had a little dog get clubbed to death. That made me cry. I was sad in Toy Story when they were about to get burned. Anything where the dog dies makes me cry. I know there are other things, but I can't think of them now.

Naruto when the 3rd Hokage dies. Or, any of the deaths from Kenshin....that was an epic series

I thought it was especially sad when Zabuza died along with Haku, and it started to snow around them.

The music from Naruto really enhances the show to make it much better.
