Eh, Halo 4 for me.

But, I will probably be getting this game as well.

I just got a 360 for Christmas so I've only just begun to play games that have been out for years. The Mass Effect series is on my list due to people's positive reviews alone but I don't actually know anything about the game. I get the sense that it's like Knights of the Old Republic but replacing the force with technology. Is that the case? Is it as dialog heavy?

No, and yes receptively. I haven't played either, but just watch some videos on it, it is REALLY good. Also, get Halo. :D

Halo 3 was my first buy after Christmas. Good game. It felt a little short but I can't tell if it was just because I never stopped playing. Reach came with the 360 but I want to play ODST first, just for consistency.

Yeah, get ODST, the Firefight is much better than Reachs IMO.

As for Halo 3, is it just me, or did Masterchief write the book for BA? I also love his relationship with the Arbiter, is a cool bond.

Anybody play the demo?

Not yet, but planning on it. Looked awesome from some videos I saw.

Mass Effect is a story-driven game. It is a RPG third-person shooter. Story is a huge factor and there is a lot of dialog. However the pacing between the action and dialog is very good. It is my favorite game series on Xbox, with the possible execption of the Dragon Age Series.

I would also highly recommend BioShock. Another story driven game, but it is also very philosophical.

Curious if the CoD release will be any good this year.

I don't know. They need to innovate the game though to deep it from getting stale.

The Demo ROCKS.

I thought that the multiplayer would be just tacked on, but it's great!

Dragon Age? You actually like BOTH dragon age's?

Yes I do. The only thing I didn't like about the second was the choppy story and the recycled landscapes. However the combat was great and it expanded on an already excellent in game world.

Good. I was worried but Bioware doesn't do anything half-assed...

Except for Dragon Age 2
