Vampires.
Yes, I admit it.
I'm not proud of it, but there it is.

But I like other sci-fi and fantasy as well.

Non-fiction and science fiction, horror (I'm also trying to venture into the realms of weird fiction), mystery, and so forth.

People who know me personally know that I despise fiction. Movies I enjoy but fictional books I can't stand.

Okay, how can anyone tolerate horror? It's horrifying.

So? Why do we enjoy base jumping and sky diving? Arent those based on fear as well? Fear, horror can be exhilerating. It gives us a thrill.

Incredible book; Best book I've read in at least the last 3 years.

I was about to say "action" then realized that this was for books, not movies.

My favorite book series is Harry Potter but I don't really like any other books in that genre.

My fav genres:

1) Legal

John Grisham books

2) Action/Adventure

Dan Brown's books mostly. There was one really awesome one set in the arctic but I don't remember its name.

3) All of Jeffrey Archer's books. "Kane and Abel" and "Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less" are absolutely thrilling. I can't think of what genre they would be. Sons of Fortune is another good one. There is another one with two people pitted against each other but I don't remember.

I know what you are talking about!!! It had to do with finding a frozen meteor and the potential of alien life, right? I liked that book.

Yeah. There were a lot of action packed scenes too and I could almost visualize how they would be running through the snow and ice. I wish they turned it into a movie.

I like movies set in the Arctic (Whiteout is one of my favs).
