So last night I got Our Idiot Brother from Redbox, and it confirmed a belief that I've held for a while now: American Humor cinema is in the toilet. I mean, I still laugh at movies occasionaly, like The Dictator or Horrible Bosses o Our Idiot Brother, but the problem is the same with all of them. It went on a transition from pure comedy to trying to solicit laughter through shock value. I mean, lately I think all the Big names in directing got together and decided to see who slip the word "f*ck" into their script the most times.

So the discussion here lies in a couple of topics. Do you think this really happens? Do you agree? Do you think it's justified? etc. etc.
