The show is really good, and I'm pleased that it's pretty faithful to the books. Also, the actor who plays Jon Snow is completely cute.

Is the show based on the first book only or does it go through the entire series?

I've only seen the first two episodes so far, but from what I gather each season corresponds to its book number. Season 1 = book 1; Season 2= book 2, etc. So far, there are only two seasons.

It's fairly faithful to the books considering they have to condense down a book into a bite size hour chunks. They changed a lot of stuff though.

After watching the show, I was pretty surprised at how old the characters are supposed to be according to the books. I'm pretty sure Dany is supposed to be thirteen at the beginning and Jon is supposed to be 14. Lol.

They aged the characters by like 5 years or something for the show.
