I knew she was gonna do it after 25 years (2011) -- Pull the plug.

On the bright side (mayhaps) she's getting her own NETWORK lol.

I wonder what the housewives of America will do now...

Do you think she'll have a replacement of sorts? Whom? Tyra?

It's called OWN. I wonder if she did that on purpose.

Rachael Ray will never and could never be Oprah.

Also, I already mentioned her new network :)

I agree, but she will try... and who else could do it...

I dont think anyone can replace Oprah. I'm sure they are prodding someone up to try. Tyra Banks doesnt measure up to Oprah in my opinion, but I could be wrong.

I don't see what all the hub-ubs about being that she's just going to another network for "her show", it's prolly gonna be the exact same show, just with some extra buzz behind it.

Ha! Much agreed. Is Tyra as liberal as Oprah?

Oprah doesn't consider herself political, and has never made it public whether she was a Lib or Con. Obama was the first and only candidate she publicly supported; people voted for him for a lot of reasons (change, race, his speech making abilities, to get rid of a Republican in the white house, the economic situation, anyone but Palin, etc) so I don't think Oprah's endorsement of him necessarily makes her a liberal. I think she just heard him speak way back when and got so moved and inspired by him and what he "represented" that she fell in political love with him.

There's no guarantee that her show is going to continue. She's going to own her own network; however, we don't know if her show will continue.

either which way oprah will always remain the worlds richest african american women
just because her show is coming to an end does not mean we will not hear from or about her where abouts
*reminder*
she still has her own magazine which never quoted that was being canceld
also i do believe what somebody has posted earlyer about "TYRA BANKS" yes indeed to my oppinion i do believe that she will be taking oprahs place as of she has two of her own shows and she is a retireing model.
the only thing she needs now is her own magazine.......
