His channel says he has 11,347,473 subscribers.

Smosh has 11,656,631.

How is that possible to accomplish in a little over a year, whereas many of the other big YouTube channels have been on there for 5+ years?

Eh, I've never really understood the big craze over PewDiePie. I mean, he's a fairly good entertainer, and definitely better than the likes of Tobuscus, but still.

I used to watch him. He got boring and repetitive. I prefer Markiplier more.

I only watch Let's Plays on Youtube these days.

Have you tried roosterteeth? It's a game-based channel too, heavy on the comedy. Achievement Hunter is a cool series of theirs where they show you how to earn achievements on new games.

Yeah I have. Their Let's Play Minecraft is quite entertaining (if not slightly repetitive).

Really his videos are total sh!t
Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

They are total sh!t because he posts way too often. He has 1,399 videos in about two years. That's too much - about 2 videos per day.

What I really don't understand is ExpertVillage. They have 139,096 videos. Since YouTube was founded, 8 years, 5 months, and 21 days have passed. That is 3093 days.

139,096 / 3093 = 44

That's 44 fvcking videos a day!

I think we can assume that more than a single guy is making vids for them.

ExpertVillage is a massive compilation from tons of sources spanning dozens of topics.
