The best band in the world (lyrics and vocals) undoubtedly goes to Evanesence. The best guitar goes to either Opeth or As I Lay Here Dying. The best drums goes to Radiohead (this I could vary, because I don't hear drums too often too clearly) and I'm not sure about the bass.

What do you think? (I LOVE EVANESCENCE!!!!!!)

The best contemporary bands are "Lamb of God" and "All That Remains" hands down.

What do I think? I don't agree with any of it.

Personally I can't stand Black Sabbath. Most of those others are pretty cool though. Billy Talent and ABBA still win though.

I think the best band ever is Muse, although my favorite is Coldplay. Matt Bellamy, the lead singer, has awesome vocal range and the subject matter of most of their songs is pretty intense.

Their music is just bada$$.

That's all. :]

It is odd when one's capacity for compassion is measured not in what he is willing to do by his own time, effort, and property, but what he will force others to do with their own property instead.
