After watching the movie I found that it was really good and has really maintained the standard set by its predecessor. In fact i found the movie a little more to my liking than Frozen and am of the opinion that the movie has chances of beating Frozen's box office record.
So what do you people think?

I highly doubt it. Frozen is obviously better.

Box office, no.
More enjoyable, maybe.
Better film, probably.
My work here is, finally, done.

Haven't seen it, but I might.

Sequels tend to not be as good as the original, and when it comes to Disney animations, they're not that great (exception would be Toy Story, they did a good job there).

HtTyD2 sounds interesting. I thought it was a much too over-hyped movie and over-the-top commercialized when I saw the trailer (loads and loads of spoilers) but reviews are good.
I kind of want to see the movie. Although Frozen is good, it is mostly much too fast-paced for most critics to drill a hole and see all the errors, but it is also too fast-paced for you to enjoy any particular of it.
All movies need to have a moment of rest where you can enjoy the movie, or get suspense and excitement. HttyD had the dragon ride. Aladdin had the magic carpet ride. Up had the amazing beginning as well as powerful ending. Space Odyssey was overfilling with these moments, IMO overdo but still pretty amazing movie. Even Inception gave you a while to catch your breath with the epic slow-motion falls and explosions.
