Which movie has the best part of a movie?
What do you guys think?

Opening scene: The Lion King

Beginning (first 10 minutes or so): Escape Plan; Raiders comes very very close

Initiating Event (introducing the problem): The Lego Movie (Kragle was genius)

Rising Action (build-up): tie between Kings of Appletown and Matilda (leaning Matilda a little bit here)

Climax scene: The Lego Movie

Resolution: How to Train Your Dragon (Lego comes pretty darn close, although its resolution is a tad bit short IMO; Wreck-it-Ralph is pretty close too, with its very nicely executed beginning that resonates with the beginning)

Cliff-hanger ending: The Lego Movie

Best sound-track: Tie among Raiders, Star Wars, and Pirates of the Carribean

Most convincing death scene: In Raiders, where the baskets explode and the girl supposedly dies

Its just that I liked TLM too much...it really impresses me. Although Raiders is number one on my chart, TLM is always my favorite movie in my heart. Its climax is truly heart-breaking/heart-warming. Nearly nothing comes close to beating it. (Matrix climax was incredible too, Star wars: Lost Hope had a real nice climax too) I just feel like its solution was lovely, logical, and truly resonated with my heart. I judged the movie climax based on my personal feel.
Raider, although overall insanely entertaining, felt like it had an anti-climatic climax. All this time you were expecting Indiana to kick butt, only for voodoo magic to kill the villains...

But I agree that Inception comes pretty darn close to beating out lego when it came to the cliff-hanger...Inception's ending gave me chills to the bones
