Which one is better?
It is odd when one's capacity for compassion is measured not in what he is willing to do by his own time, effort, and property, but what he will force others to do with their own property instead.

Seriously, I'm trying to decide on which one to go see.

Go see Prince of Persia. Shrek is just lame now. Only the first two were good.

I second that. Prince of Persia won't be that great, but at least it'll be something new.

Depends on who you're seeing it with. PoP sucked, and I can safely say Shrek will as well.

I read reviews on imdb. I find them to be more accurate. I haven't read the review for PoP yet though. I'm a fan of those games though. Haha.

It doesn't do justice to the games.

Yea, movies based on video games usually don't so I'm not expecting too much from this movie although I will go see it regardless.

You're a teenage dude. Animation = really not cool to see (at least in theaters) anymore. Prince of Persia doesn't seem like it'll be too impressive, but the girl looks kinda' hot.

So? I'm basically an adult and I still enjoy watching some animated movies in the theatre.

Who died and made you king of cool? Besides, who cares if it's not cool? He's going for entertainment, not to look cool.

I vote for Shrek. I'll see it once it comes out on DVD/BluRay.

I'll leave this tangent by saying that I simply feel that animated movies in theaters have proven to be either juvenile or simply boring.

Because you fear you won't look cool at the theaters.

The Pixar films to name a few.

Elaborate.

Although I did not see this in theaters, I actually did enjoy Monsters Inc.

Other than that, I usually don't like animation. I was a fan of the Toy Story series, but I've lost touch with it.

You feeeeeeeel that it has been proven? What's the name for that fallacy again?

Because you fear you won't look cool at the theaters.

No. Simply because I rarely go to the theaters. The last movie I've seen in theaters, I think, was the Harry Potter movie.

First off, I'm not your buddy. If it's just an opinion, then why say something at all? Making baseless claims is pointless. "Hurr durr, animated movies are uncool and boring and juvenile." Oh really? Would you like to back that up? Of course not. Besides, I doubt you have any friends whatsoever, to be completely honest. Your posts on here have pretty much validated that. Thus, you'd be the last one anyone should consult for a coolness factor.

You do? Some of the magic is animated. Harry Potter is probably too juvenile and boring and uncool for you.

You're really starting to bore me. Your comments are just coming off stupid and unwarranted.

Actually, it's quite entertaining for me. It includes some real people. Doubt you know too many of those.
